The Reactor 40 autopilot system, in combination with the included linear drive unit, is ideal for boats with a displacement of up to 13 tonnes. Use the new Garmin GHC50 control unit to steer your autopilot through rough waters and keep an eye on important data.
Fast, flexible and reliable
The solid-state 9-axis AHRS (Attitude Heading Reference System) responds reliably to sea conditions to maintain course. In addition, the autopilot system offers particularly helpful features, including heading hold, wind hold, tack/jibe, step turns and more. It also greatly minimises heading error, course deviation, rudder movement and power consumption, giving you enough time to operate sails, lines, winches or radios. The system mounts nearly anywhere, in any orientation.
Including linear drive
This Class A electromechanical linear drive unit works with the GHP Marine Autopilot System to control your sailboat or motorboat's steering system precisely and reliably. The unit is designed for larger sailboats with a displacement of up to 12.927 tonnes (28,500 lbs).
Chartplotter compatibility
Combined with a compatible chartplotter, the Reactor 40 can be controlled and steered anywhere on the boat. In addition to holding its course in virtually all weather and wind conditions, the system can smoothly perform a variety of preprogrammed trolling and search procedures. A BlueChart g3 Vision chart (sold separately) gives you additional functions, such as Auto Guidance with automatic route suggestions.
