Product details
Quick-drying, durable polyurethane varnish. The satin finish of this varnish gives wooden interiors a warm and friendly atmosphere. The surface is resistant to hot water and mild acids. This makes the varnish especially suitable for galleys and wet rooms. Coverage: about 11.5 m²/litre. Thinner No.1.
Application instructions:
For coated surfaces:
Degrease surface with Thinner No. 1 and sand with 280-320 grit, clean and allow to dry.
For uncoated surfaces:

Degrease surface with Thinner No. 1 and sand with 280-320 grit, clean and allow to dry.
For uncoated surfaces:
- Bare wood: Degrease thoroughly with Thinner No. 1. Sand smooth with 80-180 grade paper and then 280 grade paper. Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting and wiping. Then apply wood treatment and allow to dry.
Application: Thoroughly clean and degrease. Sand and rinse the substrate. Then thin the 1st coat of Goldspar Satin by 10-15 % before applying. Then apply a minimum of 3 unthinned coats. After every 2nd coat, sand with 320-400 grit.
Number of coats: 3-4 coats
Drying time at 15° C: 3 hours
Processing time at 15° C: min. 15 hours
Processing temperature: +5 °C to max. 35° C
