Brilliant! Simple in use, has enough elasticity, repairs do not have to go down all the way to the wood, and it does a lot more salty water and UV sweats than the other things I've tested so far.

I bought this paint on the recommendation of a motorcyclist. My insinuation was that, even in all weathers and even in winter, I drive a motorcycle to protect my old Russian Dnepr team from the salt orgies. The paint fulfills its task to the fullest satisfaction. The rims painted with a brush and the rest of the team with the paint sprayer. The fertility is very high and preparatory, except cleaning, not necessary.

Product details

LE TONKINOIS oil varnish is a high quality oil. For nearly 100 years, it has been pressed according to proven traditional methods, while being refined at high temperatures (270°C). Afterwards, one part pure China wood oil is added in. It forms an oil of high purity and quality.

LE TONKINOIS marine varnish is ideal for protecting exterior and interior wood. It preserves the natural, warm character of the material for an almost unlimited period of time, even under extreme climatic conditions. The biggest enemies of wood outdoors are evidently water and sunlight – which have no chance to damage the wood if it is treated with 3 to 4 layers of LE TONKINOIS. The product's fine linseed oil protects any wooden materials against discoloration and leaching, prevents cracking and preserves the bright, natural character of the material. Conserves value and offers protection without chemicals! Coverage: about 20 m²/liter.

In addition, a Gelomat matting agent is additionally available. Please mix it with the varnish: 10-50% matting agent, depending on the desired degree of matting.

LE TONKINOISE
Elegant parquet floors, valuable furniture, everything made out of wood gets long-term protection against UV-rays, temperature fluctuations and abrasions. LE TONKINOIS is purely natural. It will not generate any harmful vapours. Even degreased metals can benefit from the protective qualities of LE TONKINOIS.

Once again, the quality of the result is top class. Whether in the Interior - or outdoor area when painting Holzlverkleidungen and last the grain and color of the respective substrate is well emphasized. The paint has good flow properties, does not spotty and can be easily repainted after short periods of standing (about 6 hours) again. But please always remember: not the thickness of each coat is good but the frequency of a weak wetting leads to the best result! Especially since the suppleness of the paint is very good. The price is fully justified and here at SVB also particularly favorable.

After 10 years of working with another product that is more labor intensive, Le Tonkinois has been used for 3 years. Only one type of varnish / oil is used, which shortens the processing. The UV resistance is excellent and the sensitivity to point load is very low.
