This product is delivered in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) quality. It is not the original product from the manufacturer.
The life of a seawater and impeller pump is limited, even if maintenance such as replacing the seal or impeller is carried out regularly. The reason for this is corrosion, which is caused by the constant condensation of the pump even if the engine is not in use, as well as material removal due to erosion as a result of the high flow speed of the seawater inside the pump housing. OEM quality.
Often small but steadily increasing water leaks, usually at the bottom of the housing, are signs of a pump's demise. At that point, you should think about a replacement.
In order to assist skilled skippers in carrying out their own repairs without causing a total loss, we now offer seawater/impeller pumps for the most common types of engines on the market.

The pump is perfectly compatible with the Lombardini LDW702. Easy assembly with the supplied accessories. Perfect operation with no water leaks. My only complaint is that the pump had clearly been used before, as it contained the impeller and was still wet inside. But I needed it, so I kept it anyway.
The pump was only fitted with a shaft seal towards the pump impeller. Had to rebuild it with also a shaft seal towards the engine, otherwise it leaks engine oil. So only compatible with the LDW engines after rebuild!
