Wind transmitter 608 also suitable for 508 The successor model 608 also fits the model 508 without any problems. Simply plug it in and log into the system and off you go.

Expensive but perfect
Very easy to install product with clear instructions.
Restarting was done without problem thanks to the user settings menu of the IS20 master.
The only annoying point is the price!!

Does this have a simnet male connector? Or is it NMEA2000?

Hi Dominik, the wind sensor has an Simnet male connector. So you need on the top a cable with Simnet female connection.

Can I set up this sensor in my exixting Nmea2000 network, without the need of any other device? What about the alignment and sensor calibration procedures? I have Raymarine MFDs...
