Quite simple installation - works perfectly as described The installation instructions must be followed exactly, then it will work perfectly in the Raymarine network. CAUTION: The cables, especially the extensions, are very thick (you need to pull them all the way to the plotter!). The protective magnets can be easily removed and reattached. I use fiberglass wire from the hardware store to pull them through.

The Raymarine CPT-S CHIRP in-hull transducer can be installed without needing to drill a single hole and provides accurate depth measurement. Delivery includes a sleeve that is glued to the inside of the hull and filled with a liquid. The liquid improves the transfer of sound waves and ensures reliable data collection. Furthermore, the innovative design allows easy mounting to different hull angles (0 - 25 °). Suitable for hull material: GRP.

Hello Preben, I don't think so. Echo sounder sensors in particular are built for a specific series of instruments. It's not just about the connector plug and cable length, but also about the transmission power or frequency.
