Outstanding value for money, easy handling and good driving characteristics: we give you our PEARL 230 yacht tender! PEARL, our high-performance alternative to the NEMO series of slatted bottom inflatable boats, has an air floor, which not only makes the dinghy easier to stow, it also gives the boat more dynamic driving characteristics due to the harder floor. The boat is the perfect choice for those who are looking for an affordable yacht tender or dinghy for occasional use.
Note on the material: The PEARL inflatable boats are made of a special 5-layer PVC (polyvinyl chloride). The base is made of a synthetic fibre fabric reinforcement (polyester). The fabric has 1100 Decitex, making it particularly strong. It is covered on the inside and outside with an adhesive layer which serves as a carrier for a double-sided PVC coating. This keeps the inflatable boat light and robust. We use PVC that is specially developed for the production of inflatable boats and has been tried and tested for years. Recommended air floor pressure: 0.6 bar. NOTE: Contrary to what is written in the manual, no pressure gauge is included in delivery contents. You can find a suitable pressure gauge in the recommendations!

super dinghy with small pack size
our old dinghy had given up on some of the seams and we were looking for a replacement.
as we don't have much space on deck with our 36er, the foredeck is off limits because of the spinnaker and large genoa and towing is not an option for us from a sailing perspective, the air floor was very tempting.
better driving characteristics and less space required when folded, that was the hope.
both points have been fulfilled the dinghy drives much better with the 2.5 hp outboard than the old one, in combination with an electric pump that can also suck air (actually for our SUP which is always folded), the dinghy can be folded up almost to its original packing size in a short time and without stress and can therefore be easily stowed on deck (as a flat pack on deck under the boom) without affecting the sailing characteristics and/or visibility. The quality makes a very good impression - the right choice for us after our first 14-day trip in the Adriatic this season.

We don't have any long-term results yet, of course, but we are convinced that the dinghy will accompany us for that long.
