The heart of the SURVIVAL 220 is the flotation bladder, designed with more shape over the shoulders. The shape also allows the life jacket to be shorter and ergonomically designed to lie back on the shoulders and away from dragging down on the neck. The webbing and back section also now support a padded area for even greater comfort.

Yachting and cruising, offshore sailing (blue water). Ergonomic shape for freedom of movement, ideal for long trips.

Properties

Comfort and freedom of movement	The ergonomical formed protection case offers a maximum of freedom of movement and allows a permanent wearing of the life jacket. The back part and the underside of the life jacket are additionally padded.
SECUMAR-Window	The functional control is now easier than before. At a glance, you can check from the outside through the window of the cover if the triggering mechanism is ready to go.
SECUMATIC 4001S	The SURVIVAL 220 is equipped with then new patented triggering automatism SECUMATIC 4001S. Through one indicator you can see if the inflational system and the CO2 cartridge are operational.
Softshell in the neck part	Sores on the neck have no chance. A soft Softshell piece guarantees a comfortable wearing experience on your neck.
Putting on and taking off	Taking the life jacket off and putting on is very easy due to the SECUMAR click belt. It is put on like a normal jacket.
Integration of emergency signals	Over an integrated bag, it is possible to install the AIS-SART emergency signal easyRESCUE A040-BW-COM into the vest. Additionally there is a refit latch available with which following emergency transmitters can be installed: OCEAN Signal PLB1, Kannad SafeLink R10, McMurdo Smartfind 520 and ACR ResQLink+.

On request, we can professionally install a marine distress beacon in the life jacket. Simply click on "Add distress beacon" and select your desired marine transmitter.

Very comfortable to wear

I ordered the 220 together with the 275 because its buoyancy would be sufficient for 90% of my missions. But for me, as a 2-meter-tall man, the 275 simply fits better. My wife was so impressed with the 220 that she kept it for herself.
