Functions Our Steyr engine does not have a NMEA xxxx interface, the engine display is difficult to read. To do this you have to click through the individual data. With this gateway it now works perfectly. Everything that the CAN bus delivers from the engine is translated and can be displayed in seatalk-ng. For seatalk-ng, the seatalk-ngx nmea-2k adapter is required.

Very satisfied The Veratron NMEA2000 Gateway J1939 works as expected and connected to a Volvo Penta D1-30F engine without any problems. However, it requires a CAN bus splitter cable, which I made myself, taking longer than anticipated. Using a ready-made splitter cable would definitely be faster.

Product details

The Veratron LinkUp products convert analogue vessel and engine information into digital NMEA2000 data. This data can be displayed directly on an NMEA2000 compatible device. Configuration is quick and easy via smartphone. An LED indicates the status of the unit and that it is being configured. Power supply via NMEA2000. Approved for installation in the engine compartment according to ISO 8846:1990.

For cummins qsm11 and A9 raymarine engine

Impossible to trace the information on a raymarine A9 ... when it is recognized??
On the other hand with the yacht devices interface for J1939 everything is OK.
Too bad because the price was very interesting...

Hi, will it work with Vovlo Penta D2-60F from 2021? It has MDI controler and digital tacho VCS - i want to conect it to my mnea network . Do I need some adapter cable as on volvo network there is 6pin german car plug/ socket? Please let me know.
