Product details

Water-lubricated shaft bearing from VETUS for quiet, smooth running of the propeller shaft.
Rubber bearings with plastic casings are extremely lightweight, do not corrode and are very easy to replace.

Available in two versions: 1) For shaft diameters in mm and outer bearing diameters in inches / 2) For shaft diameters in mm and outer bearing diameters in mm.

The plastic version is ideal for use with aluminium boats. Also available for imperial -based shafts on request.

If something goes wrong, it goes really wrong.
I ordered the RULAG35PH bearing, but received a gray plastic shaft bearing from CARAVEL with the same part number, which I immediately returned.

After numerous phone calls with sales and the warehouse, I finally received the RULAG35PH (which was ordered as a special order from Vetus, even though the online shop consistently showed 3 units available) after more than three weeks.

Long story short – when the data in the catalog, online shop, and warehouse isn't consistent, things can go very wrong.

I've now installed the bearing, and the shaft runs very smoothly.

Perfect fit and easy to assemble
The bearing fits perfectly and is easy to install; simply screw it into the freestanding bearing block using the threaded rod, nuts, and bearing-sized pressure plates.

I chose the plastic version primarily for easier disassembly later.
