Solar charge controller SmartSolar MPPT 7515 Have installed 1x110WP 1x55WP solar panels on the boat and connected both in parallel to the controller. So 12V system. The controller is nice and small and crisp, but the best thing is the Bluetooth app function. Unfortunately, the connection and programming from the laptop did not work. But from the mobile phone with the app everything worked immediately. The Bluetooth connection is quite strong and stable, works from a distance of about 6-8mtr at the GRP hull. The charging setting for the now very common FifePo4 batteries are already stored and simply have to be clicked in the menu, then highlighted in blue. I find the app very valuable and clear, you can see all the current important solar and battery data and also trend records of the last few days. It is not without reason that VICTRON is very widespread in this area. I would buy VICTRON again at any time!

Product details

The SmartSolar maximises energy harvest and intelligently redirects it so that your battery is fully charged in the shortest possible time. It works by ensuring that all energy is taken from your solar panels and stores it in your batteries. This is especially useful on overcast days when the light intensity is constantly changing. The SmartSolar automatically detects the battery voltage and is suitable for a wide range of battery voltages. In addition, the 15/20 A versions offer load balancing via a physical output. The controller also has a programmable charging algorithm, internal temperature sensor and Bluetooth.
