Description
The Elan 331 is a 10.35 metre sailing yacht designed by Rob Humphreys and marks the transition from the classic Elan 33 to the more modern Elan 333. The hull is more spacious at the stern than its predecessor and combines cruising comfort with a sporty focus. Propulsion is via sails and is supported by an inboard engine as an auxiliary motor for harbour manoeuvres. The yacht has a single rudder blade and a fixed keel. The cockpit is generously dimensioned and designed for small crews. Below deck, the Elan 331 was offered as a 2-cabin version as well as a 3-cabin version. The 3-cabin version has two narrower aft cabins, supplemented by saloon berths. The interior is finished in classic mahogany or cherry wood colours. Compared to the Elan 33, the Elan 331 offers a more modern stern design and more flexible cabin layouts. This makes the Elan 331 suitable for both private owners and charter use.
