Eine sehr gute Filteranlage. Zum Filterwechsel Diesel, Schmutz und Wasser über den Ablaßhahn in ein Gefäss ablaufen lassen, Filterdeckel öffnen und den verschmutzten Filter wechseln. Dies alles geht im Gegensatz zu anderen Filtersystemen ohne große Sauerei von verschüttetem Diesel ab. Unbedingt gleich mitzubestellen sollte man die Anschlussverschraubungen, denn diese haben ein Metrisches Gewinde von M16 x 1,5 mm. Noch ein Tip: In die Dieselleitung zwischen Tank und Filter einen Pumpball einbauen,dann läßt sich die Filteranlage schnell wieder mit Diesel füllen .

Product details

The Separ SWK 2000 is a water separator and filter for light diesel fuel. The multiple centrifugal system provides a 100% solution for water and dirt problems. The filters are GL, Lloyds, RINA, TUV, etc. approved and available with different flow rates. This device is characterized by an extremely high separation efficiency of water. According to TÜV testing, no water is detectable in the fuel. Due to the backflushing process, the service life of the filter is extended. The filters are available as single filters or as pre-assembled, reversible double filters. Installation of each filter (single or double) requires 2 hose connectors and 2 bolts (sold separately).

Note: Only install the filter in the intake line between the tank and the pump.

Very low pressure difference, keeps the lift pump in condition and saves the fine filter from particles and of course water.
In a modern diesel engine with common rail technology the high pressure pump and the injectors are very sensitive for water.

After 25 years of good functioning, my separator prefilter suddenly had a hairline crack in the lid level. The new filter is precisely fitting and easy to install. Note the changed thread sizes of the inflow and outflow. Formerly M14 now M16.
