Use as a fender line This line is used as a fender line because the weave makes knots on the railing wire easy to untie. After testing it on a few fenders, we switched completely from the usual twisted fender lines to this universal line for all 10mm thick fenders.

Tasmania SC is an extremely practical, universal line made from polyester. Very flexible, the rope is made with a well-balanced double braid for excellent durability and strength. Excellent as a sheet, halyard or trim line, with extremely comfortable handling.

Cleaning ropes:

Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:

Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
- Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
- Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Then wash the rope with clean water.
Washing machine:
- Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
Do not tumble dry the rope.
- After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

Rope broke in first use. When I spliced the eye it seemed a poor quality light rope & I should have thrown it away then. Avoid !

I used this 11mm rope to fly out spinnaker. Wind only 10 knots amd rope broke within 10 minutes

No way its as strong as advertised

Luckily we managed to retrieve our spinnaker from the water without damage

AVOID THIS ROPE - it is poor quality and not strong!
