The combination of Dyneema® coreSK78 and solid double braid cover ensures a maximum strength and minimum stretch. It has an excellent dimensional stability and excellent abrasion protection.

NEW: An ultra-thin intermediate layer made from high-tech carbonised GripFibre. This eliminates core–sheath displacement while creating additional space for core material, resulting in higher strength at the same diameter.

Bio-based Dyneema® stands for the complete production of rope fibres under organic conditions. The petroleum component naphtha is replaced by organic naphtha derived from sustainably managed, certified forests, in a strictly controlled mass balancing procedure. Cleaning ropes:
Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:

Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
- Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
- Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Then wash the rope with clean water.
Washing machine:
- Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
Do not tumble dry the rope.
- After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

According to spec very good for my mainsail halyard

Order was delivered as described. The feel is a bit less comfortable than the previous yard from Marlow, which lasted 18 years.
The SK87 has less notably less creep. Splcing requires some special strenth. Good price performance ratio.
We hope it lasts 18 years as well.
