Product details

JammerTwin double braid rope works best as a halyard line for your boat. Not only is it extremely tough and durable, but also extraordinarily rigid and strong, thanks to the high-performance fibers and high-quality workmanship. The reinforced cover ensures minimal elongation under high load as well as excellent grip in cleats. Cover is made of Technora® Polyester and the core is made of Dyneema® SK38.

Order your rope conveniently by the metre – or configure it according to your preferences in our rope configurator.

Features:
  • Runs very smoothly on sheaves, even with smaller sheave diameters
  • Resilient sheath thanks to Technora
  • Holds very well in stoppers

Cleaning ropes:

Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:

  • Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
    • Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
    • Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
    • Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
    • Do not use fabric softener.
    • Then wash the rope with clean water.
  • Washing machine:
    • Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
    • Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
    • Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
    • Do not use fabric softener.
  • Do not tumble dry the rope.
    • After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

A nice piece of rope. We had to replace a reef line on our catamaran. This was close to the one that came with our boat.
