Product details

LED bar with dimmable light in rigid aluminium profile for boats and outdoor use. The bar does not flicker and is resistant to vibrations. Two stainless steel brackets are included, making installation simple and completed in the shortest possible time: the stainless steel brackets are each fixed to the installation site with a small screw, the bar is then pressed/locked into the brackets. Screws are not included.

INSTALLATION NOTES
  • Connection can be made via this DC barrel plug connection cable.
  • The illuminant of this LED strip is designed for 12 V DC. Since the voltage in a 12 V on-board power supply is variable and higher, we additionally recommend using a DC/DC converter (LED voltage regulator).
  • If a connection to the 230 V AC mains (shore power) is desired, we recommend using this power supply with barrel connector.

The cables are not marked as plus or minus. There is a male plug that has to be ordered separately, but its cables are not marked either. It would be so easy if there was a plus and a minus cable coming out of the strip that you could connect to your on-board cables. No, there is a female plug attached to the light strip and a male plug has to be ordered separately. You then cut it off, measure the resistance of the cables and connect them to the on-board cables.
In addition, the strips get quite hot and cannot be combined if you need more than 1 meter.
