Very good product I am very satisfied with the device. Could connect my Raymarine devices (Autopilot, Logge, Lot, AIS, Remote Control, Radio) via Seatalk1, wonderfully with my new Simrad NSS 7 evo2 plotter. Even the configuration went smoothly, although my English is not very good.

The NMEA Multiplexer by ShipModul is distinguished by its reliability, flexibility, extensive functionality and its excellent price to performance ratio.
The multiplexer works in conjunction with both PC's and notebooks running Windows, and Apple Macintosh devices with OS-X.
Thanks to the extensive possibilities of the multiplexer, it is the optimum solution for a variety of problems, which may occur when connecting your onboard networks. You can connect the multiplexer (not just the NMEA0183) to several receivers and with each other; you also have the ability to receive and send data from modern NMEA2000 devices as well.

The options include, for example:

Forward the outputs of multiple NMEA devices to an NMEA output or a PC
Summarize the data from NMEA devices with different speeds on an output at a rate
Filter NMEA records and convert between different protocols

The following settings can be customized with the configurational software:

Filters and routing capabilities
Prioritizing the same data from different inputs
Conversion of protocols among themselves (NMEA0183, SeaTalk, NMEA2000)
Variable rates of inputs and outputs from 4800 to 57600
Conversion of records (eg: HDG -> HDT, VTG -> VHW, ...)

To protect the connected equipment from damage caused by different electrical potentials, connect the multiplexers to all ports via galvanic isolation.
The multiplexer has 4 NMEA inputs (an input can optionally used for the SeaTalk bus), 2 NMEA outputs and a USB interface.

This multiplexer allows everything that is described in the manual. As a non-navigation electronics engineer, it took a while... ;-))..., but in the end everything works as it should. Full control over the data flow on board. In our case between NKE (NMEA0183), NMEA2000, on-board PS and VHF. Overall, highly recommended!

The developers know what matters

Intended Use Coupling of B & G Plotter (NMEA2000), FM Radio (NMEA-In), EasyAIS (NMEA-Out), SpeedEchoWindAutopilotCompass (SeaTalk1 InOut), Notebook (USB InOut) 1st attempt (firmware 1.13) All data on the Config- Tool of the MiniPlex and on the USB-PC interface, SeaTalk data on the plotter, GPS data on the FM! AIS does not arrive at the plotter, routing data from the plotter is not on the Raymarine ST4000 autopilot 2nd attempt (firmware 1.17) AIS issue fixed. After some reaction time to a demand came the news from England, problem of the plotter data in the direction of SeaTalk1 announced, it follows shortly the update 2.0, then the part would then be 100% worth its money. Good processing, easy connection, good config tool, the data flow can be filtered, so that eg the spark is not "bothered" with wind information. If the German support had also answered times, I would give 5 stars. So guys, WAKE UP!
