The SIMARINE Radar Tank Transmitter STR2 provides high-precision level measurements for plastic tanks using the latest radar technology. Developed for use in modern ship systems, it delivers reliable values - regardless of the tank shape, fluid type or movements of the boat. This makes it ideal for fuel, fresh water, grey water and other on-board tank applications.
With a measuring range of 150 mm to 2000 mm, the STR2 ensures exceptional accuracy and stability, even in demanding conditions where conventional float sensors reach their limits. The non-contact radar measurement technology prevents mechanical wear and ensures a particularly long service life with minimal maintenance. Thanks to automatic calibration, the tank sensor is immediately ready for use.
For maximum compatibility, the STR2 outputs the measured values in NMEA2000 format, making the data available to any compatible display device in your network. Thanks to the integrated Bluetooth interface, users can easily configure the sensor and retrieve real-time level data via their smartphone.
