Raymarine AIS700 SOTDMA AIS transponder
Raymarine's new AIS transponder AIS700 is equipped with the latest SOTDMA AIS technology, which achieves greater transmission and reception of AIS data and 5 watts of power compared to traditional Class-B AIS devices at higher intervals. In addition, the SOTDMA AIS transponders can no longer be suppressed by Class A devices. The AIS700 has an internal splitter so that an existing FM antenna can be used.

Hi, I have a problem with my AIS700. it will only run i silent mode. I have tried to get it to work with a pc on the USB port and via my 70i instrument, i have checked the cabeling to confirm that the silent swits is not activated. What can be wrong?
Before the AIS700 goes into transmit mode, it is necessary that the AIS700 is completely programmed - name, callsign, MMSI, ship type. Furthermore it is important that the included GPS antenna is connected and delivers position data (this can be checked with the programming software proAIS). Also the antenna system has to be checked - if the AIS700 outputs a VSWR error, an error in the antenna system is possible.
Hi, I have a problem with my AIS700. I programmed the name, callsign, MMSI and shiptype with proAIS. Connected the GPS and VHF antenna. I can see other boats on my Axiom 7 but i can not see myself on Marinetraffic. The AIs light is green and momentarelly goes red and then green. I have tryed it with 2 VHF antennas. Any help highly appreciated. Regards
Hi Emanuel, onlineplatforms are not reliable indicators for a working device. If you also have connect it with 12V DC Powersupply and not only connect by USB, then please check in config and on the MFD, if you maybe had set the device into "silent" mode". Further on, you better can check functionality with other skippers or ask ferry, coast guard or else....on onlineplatforms it could be, that there you appear with a huge delay......

Thank you for your help.
AIS 700 had not stable performance (transmiiting a bit better than receiving) , But at PRO AIS software everything looks good (Power supply, Antenna). So I decided to change antenna and situation is similar. Now I found USB Connection helps to improve reception (even USB Powerbank). Thank you. Mirek
Dear Mirek, we are glad to hear that. If you have any problems or technical questions in the future, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
How long is the Micro-C to SeaTalkNG adapter cable supplied?
If I order programming of the device, will I get any approval document or certificate?
Hello Pavel, sorry for answering late. I see that you have already received the AIS we programmed for you, which you ordered from us. The colleague who programmed the device includes a confirmation of programming with each device.
