Raymarine AIS700 SOTDMA AIS transponder

Raymarine's new AIS transponder AIS700 is equipped with the latest SOTDMA AIS technology, which achieves greater transmission and reception of AIS data and 5 watts of power compared to traditional Class-B AIS devices at higher intervals. In addition, the SOTDMA AIS transponders can no longer be suppressed by Class A devices. The AIS700 has an internal splitter so that an existing FM antenna can be used.

Very satisfied

Used as a replacement for an old, faulty AIS transceiver. Installation and connection were straightforward. It works well in both transmit and receive modes. Programming the MMMI is easy, but it's important to be careful. Time will tell, but it seems promising.
