Product details
ClearCruise ™ Augmented Reality (AR)
Make intelligent and informed decisions while sailing with Raymarine's Augmented Reality feature. This function enhances awareness by displaying navigation objects directly on a compatible multifunction display in high-definition (HD) quality, giving an HD live video image of the environment.
The AR200 module provides a stable and accurate display of AR data. In combination with a compatible IP camera, the AR200 module enables the use of ClearCruise augmented reality on your AXIOM multifunction display.
Recognise and react to nearby maritime traffic
Identify ships equipped with AIS to evaluate immediate status and risk assessments. Targets are colour-coded. NOTE: In order for AIS markings to be displayed with the augmented reality technology, NMEA 2000 compatible AIS hardware must be connected and in operation. Integration via NMEA0183 receivers is not possible for speed reasons.
Visualise your waypoints in the real world
ClearCruise AR technology visually shows you where your saved waypoints and markers are located. It is also easy to find buoys
NOTE!
Only compatible with Raymarine devices with software version: Lighthouse 3.7. The correct software update can be found here.
FLIR M232 Thermal Imaging Camera
The M232 pan and tilt IP thermal imaging camera from Flir is the smallest marine thermal camera in the series and features thermal imaging technology to enhance boaters’ overall situational awareness. With excellent resolution, it detects obstacles and targets even in complete darkness, ensuring safe navigation even in the most difficult conditions.
Safe navigation and ClearCruise compatible
Thermal imaging improves safety by revealing vessels and obstacles even in complete darkness, helping boaters navigate waters more safely than using radar or spotlight alone.
Combined with a multifunction display (available separately), you can also benefit from the advantages of ClearCruise thermal image analysis technology. ClearCruise provides audible and visual alerts when objects such as boats, obstacles or navigation markers are detected in the camera's field of view.
Optimised view and zoom function
An outstanding resolution gives you the best possible view of the entire horizon. The camera also features a 4X continuous zoom.

Bought a radar last year (Raymarine Doppler). But quickly realized that a radar on a lake is not really the best. Back then I already had the Flir M232 in focus. Now finally ordered and tested. Conclusion; You can really see everything, day or night. Excellent device. I think the security cannot be surpassed if you buy such a device. No more blind trips. The cost is very high, but you feel very safe at all times.
Axiom 2 Pro with LH 4.4.70, Flir M232 AR200 Ray 90 AIS700 connected via Seatalk and Raynet Switch worked exactly once in the hall. My feeling - after the update of LH and the rest of the devices, the nice AR function has said goodbye. Possibly the SPX30 causes problems, but it also works well in the Seatalk ng network with a P70R head. Unfortunately, the AR200 can no longer be seen as a data source, but all devices appear in the network and are ok. Flir M232 AR - no in the diagnostic data so far I have only received Monday versions with new Raymarine devices Too bad - the camera itself does what it is supposed to. The combination should be treated with caution - I still have a 4 Cyclone in the system, which is only recognized as a 3, and three old ST60 that I don't dare to replace - it's good that I still have an analogue compass, sextant and a plumb bob on board have
