VICTRON SMART BATTERY SENSE Voltage and Temperature Sensor / 12 / 24 V

Measure battery voltage and temperature with the SMART BATTERY SENSE Bluetooth voltage and temperature sensor from Victron. Access information about your lead-acid, AGM, GEL or lithium battery directly on your smartphone in the Victron Connect app. The SMART BATTERY SENSE wireless battery voltage and temperature sensor from Victron increases the charging efficiency of your MPPT solar chargers. The sensor is connected directly to the battery and data is transmitted to the charge regulator via Bluetooth for optimal charging and increased service life of your battery.

Better charging
No voltage loss due to cable resistance as the device is connected directly to the battery terminals, resulting in optimal charging voltage guaranteed. Smart Battery Sense can also be attached with an adhesive strip to the battery directly to measure battery temperature. This data is used to adjust the charging voltage according to temperature requirements. Colder lead batteries require a higher charging voltage than hotter batteries. With lithium batteries, the cells will be permanently damaged if they are charged at temperatures around or below freezing point. With lithium batteries, the temperature data transmitted is used to stop the charging process if the temperature is too low.

Wireless connection via Bluetooth
Smart Battery Sense and your MPPT solar regulator communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth. You can set up a VE.Smart Network with the Smart Battery Sense using the VictronConnect App. You can add one or more solar charge regulators to this network, provided they are connected to the same battery bank. Your charger is supplied with data from the Smart Battery Sense and can optimally adjust the charging voltage. If your solar charge regulator does not have VE.Smart support, an additional Bluetooth Smart Dongle is required.

Easy to install
It is easy to install the sensor on the battery. Connect the sensor's eyelets to the battery terminals and attach your Smart Battery Sense directly to the battery using the self-adhesive strip.
