World-class rope for regatta sailing. The first choice for consistent quality. The rope provides the strength of a wire rope and is 14 times lighter. DYNA ONE combines the extreme properties of the Dyneema^® fiber SK78 with a unique design.

Geothane coating for improved weather and abrasion protection

DYNA ONE requires fittings and winches that can work with extreme forces
Ideal for back stays
Runs very smoothly on sheaves, even with smaller sheave diameters

CAUTION: Not suitable as a sheet, unless it is covered by a sheath on the handling part of it!

Bio-based Dyneema® – Highest performance meets sustainability

Bio-based Dyneema® stands for the complete production of rope fibres under organic conditions. The petroleum component naphtha is replaced by organic naphtha derived from sustainably managed, certified forests, in a strictly controlled mass balancing procedure. Compared to conventional petroleum-based manufacturing, this bio-based alternative significantly reduces the carbon footprint without compromising strength, reliability or durability.

Cleaning ropes:

Please note the following when cleaning/washing polyester and Dyneema ropes:

Hand wash (SVB recommendation):
- Place the rope in a large bucket or bathtub and fill with warm water.
- Clean the rope thoroughly with your hands.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
- Then wash the rope with clean water.
Washing machine:
- Only wash rope in a cotton bag.
- Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees.
- Do not use regular washing powder (you can find a possible alternative here).
- Do not use fabric softener.
Do not tumble dry the rope.
- After washing, allow the ropes to drip dry (protected from UV radiation).

Dear Jesper, many thanks for your question about an inner Forestay (Solent stay). DynaOne HS MAX (the zero creep variation) will be an option, but this rope will not work in clutches. In clutches, you need a cover for grip. In that case, we would recommend MegaTwin Vectran as inner forestay.

Hi! I need new trim line for Sparcraft vang (static rope). Is Dyna one - first class 10 mm (existing width) proper rope for that use. Can you make smal eye splices on both ends. Finished lenght should be 1.8 m (spliced ends). How long rope should I order? Thank you! Gasper

SVB has ask me to reply to you, so here it goes. As far as I know that rope is perfectly fine for that purpose. I use the same on my 33' boat changing it from previous wire solution. As for the amount of rope needed for splicing both ends I would recommend you buy at least more 0,5m extra for both ends at least, plus an additional 0,5 to be on the safe side. hope that helps.
