Positive knowledge expansion
Your seminar was very helpful for me. Firstly, it was very lively and therefore interesting and entertaining.

I can now pay attention to many things myself and I can also check many things myself and avoid shipyard visits or at least provide specific information there. (Volvo Penta D2-75)
I can highly recommend this seminar.

I can now present my needs to the shipyard regarding the different battery types. If I could give one suggestion, it would perhaps be that Mr. Hilger would say a few words about shunts. (Is that shunt?) Anyway, I was once in a bay and after a sunny and thirsty day I couldn't start the engine. The reason was that all the consumers were only powered by the starter battery, but the two consumer batteries were still as good as new. Luckily, I came up with the idea of connecting the consumer battery to the starter battery myself. Unfortunately, this situation hadn't immediately occurred to me during the seminar.

Next, I'm probably interested in the Electronics and Electrical Engineering seminar (or whatever it's called exactly).

Best wishes from the Swiss mountains.

Diesel engines made very tangible
Today's seminar was a real highlight for me. Challenging, but always understandable. Practical, and everything applicable. Risks and dangers were clearly explained, but solutions and explanations of what needs to be done were also always provided. Even if you won't be able to implement some of the things yourself (I couldn't even adjust the valves on my Beetle), you can still appreciate what you're dealing with.

Everything in the presentations is well-founded. The clear, detailed parts, right down to the entire engine and the removal of the cylinder head, make the topic vivid and tangible. I enjoyed every minute and learned a lot.

I will definitely attend more seminars by Mr. Hilger.

Practically oriented, with lots of tips
I can only recommend the seminar to anyone who has never touched their machine before. In one day, so many theoretical and practical tools are taught that you can recognize the occasional malfunctions in a machine, assess the effects and correct them directly.
Veit conveys his immense knowledge and his practical way in a way that it never gets boring.

Lots of content and well presented
I attended the seminar in Munich in March 2025 and found it very valuable. The content and presentation, as well as the opportunities to ask questions relevant to my own boat engine, were excellent. The seminar lasted from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 5:20 p.m., with a short lunch break.

The seminar location in Munich, specifically in Unterhaching, was rather difficult for me to reach by public transport, clearly advantageous for those traveling by car. It's quite a distance from the Munich central area.

But again, the content is very good and well presented.

Recommended, although the price is rather high. -)

My expectations were not fulfilled.
I attended the seminar "Ship engines - technology on board 1 day" in Cologne in November 2024. Unfortunately, my expectations were not met. This may be a matter of opinion.
The fact that the seminar ended at 4 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. as described is a fraud in my opinion.
Here is an excerpt from the product description of the seminar
This one-day seminar takes place on the respective date between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Reply from MTCC
