MTCC SRC marine radio with exam / 1 day

In this course, you will learn the basics of marine radio and the correct use of frequencies and channels. You will undergo practical training in the transmission of distress messages (Distress, Emergency, Urgency and Medical Call), the transmission of radio messages to coastal radio stations and the use of DSC. You will acquire knowledge of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS).
In addition, you will learn the application and use of maritime distress radio systems such as EPIRB, PLB and SART (Search and Rescue). The majority of the course is focussed on practical exercises. Each participant has the opportunity to practise on modern VHF radios under real conditions. Detailed preparation material and videos on operating the equipment are included in the course price.

Immediately after the course, i.e. on the same day, the RYA theoretical and practical exams are also taken on the VHF radios.

Time:
The seminar takes place from 10:00 - 20:00.
The webinars take place from 18:30 - 21:30

Alternative:
For participants who wish to take an examination before the DSV or DMYV PA, there is the option of attending the 1-day SRC course in conjunction with participation in the SRC webinar on 4 evenings from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm. The exam will take place shortly before a DSV or DMYV PA in your area.

Examination:
An examination fee of €95 (RYA) is charged on site and must be paid in cash.
For examinations before PA-DSV or PA-DMYV, examination fees of €127.88 must be paid.
