Modernise the electrical system of your BAVARIA sailing yacht with the REFIT panel for the factory-fitted Panel 303. The Panel 303 is the permanently screwed panel with screw holes at the four corners and was installed on Bavaria sailing yachts from 2015 onwards. Only the visible panel is replaced, the power board remains.
Plug-and-Play Solution
The Refit Panel 303 is supplied with a fully pre-assembled wiring loom, already equipped with the required 14-pin and 6-pin connectors. To enable operation with the consumers fitted as standard, the connectors only need to be connected to the on-board power supply. In addition, the 3 cables for the bilge pump (brown), refrigerator (white) and shower pump (red) are connected to the circuit breakers F5, F7 and F9 provided.
The positive supply line of the refit panel is connected to the original connection point of the power board. Alternatively, this can be done at the corresponding connection point on the main switch board. The negative connections remain on the power board.
3.5" battery monitor
Compared with the factory-installed Panel 303, the Refit Panel features a 3.5" touch display, allowing you to read all essential battery and tank data at a glance. The TIL tank interface is also required, which converts the signals from the factory-fitted fresh water and waste water probes so that they are displayed in the battery monitor.
If your BAVARIA is fitted with two black water tanks, an additional Tank Interface TIL#2 is required. These tank interfaces are available separately.
To display battery status and real-time current flow, the Shunt SHE348 is also required. It can be easily connected to the battery monitor.
Thanks to the shunt, you can monitor the onboard electrical system, obtain a clear overview of the state of charge, detect unusual loads, and optimise your battery management system. The shunt is installed near the service batteries, which on many BAVARIA yachts are located beneath the saloon seating.
Thermal Circuit Breakers
The panel is equipped with 20 thermal circuit breakers for the standard onboard consumers. These provide reliable protection against overload and short circuits. Individual breakers can be replaced easily if required.
By using thermal circuit breakers, the previously used push buttons — some of which were unreliable — as well as all relays that caused unnecessary power consumption, are no longer required.
Extensive features
In addition to the thermal circuit breakers and the battery monitor, the Refit Panel features a USB-C/A charging socket, a 12V cigarette lighter socket, and two changeover switches for navigation light circuits.
