Gas installation compatibility in Europe

I bought a boat in Germany with a gas installation that met German standards.

I wanted to be able to use French gas cylinders as easily as German ones.

I chose to keep the original GOK regulator on the boat, and I needed a fully compatible adapter fitting between the valve on the French gas cylinder and this GOK regulator.

I found this adapter fitting in kit ref. 30089.
Since the cylinder dimensions are very different, I had to adapt the compartment to store them! All of this takes time, and I haven't yet tested the installation under real sailing conditions, but I now have everything I need to make it work.
