Using the NGW-1-ISO, you can convert NMEA0183 data to NMEA2000 data and vice versa. The NGW-1-ISOis preconfigured for NMEA0183 data at a baud rate of 4,800. This is standard as an example for the use of GPS, depth & wind data.

Perfectly fulfills the expected role
I bought this device to recover an NMEA 0183 signal coming from my multiplexer to connect it to an NMEA2000 Seatalk NG network. Then plugged into a Seatalk1Seatalk NG conversion strip I was able to retrieve all my network information in 4800 Bds and 38400 Bds.
