DIGITAL YACHT NavLink 2 - NMEA2000 to WiFi Adapter

Digital Yacht NavLink 2 is an easy to install converter that makes NMEA2000 navigation data available wirelessly to apps on smartphones, tablets, iPads and PCs. It allows direct connection to the NMEA2000 backbone and is itself powered by the data network, allowing for extremely fast installation.

Once installed, NavLink 2 creates a local WiFi network with which any end device can be connected. Alternatively, it can be configured to connect to an existing wireless network if one is available. In addition, both TCP/IP and UDP connection modes are supported, thus enabling flexible connectivity.

This feature is particularly useful for devices such as Furuno Wireless Radar that require their own dedicated network but also require integration of NMEA2000 data for charting apps. NavLink 2 is compatible with the popular Navionics Boating App for Apple iOS and Android, allowing GPS and AIS data to be displayed on Navionics charts. NavLink 2 also works just as smoothly with apps such as iNavX, TimeZero, Weather 4D, SailGrib, NavLink, iSailor, AquaMap and many more.

The converter is compatible with Windows, Linux, MAC OS, iOS and Android operating systems. Programming is carried out via a user-friendly web interface that is password protected. NavLink 2 can either act as a dedicated wireless server or connect to an existing wireless network.
NavLink 2 has a dedicated diagnostic data display mode and LED status lights. An internal Hi-Gain WiFi antenna ensures strong signal strength. The converter works at a super fast speed of 230 KB/s.

For developers and experienced users, NavLink 2 offers an optional raw data mode. The converter also comes with a NMEA2000 cable to ensure smooth integration.
