The advantages of MLI Ultra 1250 lithium technology
The Perfect Match
In combination with a MASTERVOLT Chargemaster battery charger, not only do you benefit from maximum performance, but also the highest possible safety for your lithium system. Using the MasterBus interface to connect your MASTERVOLT MLI 1250 Ultra and a Chargemaster battery charger is the best way to charge your battery and increase its life span at the same time. When the MLI Ultra and Chargemaster charger are connected via the MasterBus interface, the charger can automatically apply the best settings for the battery in real time depending on the current situation.
Installing a lithium-ion battery has never been easier. Hook up your MLI Ultra 1250 to the MASTERVOLT Chargemaster Plus charger and connect the two units using the MasterBus interface and the charger is automatically configured with the optimal settings for the battery, making your charging experience hassle-free and without the need for configuration tools.
Thanks to the NMEA2000 interface (micro-C connector), the MASTERVOLT MLI litihum battery can be quickly and easily integrated into an existing NMEA2000 network. With compatible devices, you can retrieve data from the battery at any time.
View a range of information on the SmartRemote display via the MASTERVOLT Chargemaster Plus using the MasterBus interface. Display key parameters, such as current supply, the power of the charger, as well as the voltage and temperature of the connected batteries.

Plug-and-Play

Chargemaster Plus 12/35-3
ChargeMaster Plus can handle all possible mains voltages and frequencies worldwide. The battery chargers can resist large voltage fluctuations and high temperatures, making them suitable for the harshest environments - perfect for use on boats and in cars. ChargeMaster PLUS units comply with CE, E-mark, ABYC, UL, SAE, CEC and RCM/C-Tick standards.
ChargeMaster PLUS chargers are self-explanatory! They display the charging phase of all three outputs in an easy to understand way. Robust and ergonomic connections save installation time.
In modern applications, all components work hand in hand. The CAN-based MasterBus allows the charger to communicate with displays, shunts and power systems, including communication standards such as CZone, NMEA and CANopen. The ChargeMaster PLUS can operate as a power supply for sensitive communication equipment or during the construction phase of a boat.

| Note on temperature during charging | If a charger is connected and the battery temperature is below 0 °C, the internal heater switches on until 5 °C is reached or the charger is disconnected. It takes about an hour for the battery to warm up from -20 °C to above 0 °C. Charging at temperatures < 5 °C may result in the battery not being charged, and the charging current being used to heat the cells first. Temperatures below 5 °C and above 25 °C can affect the service life and the number of charging cycles. |
