Installation & start-up
The gateway is connected directly to the NMEA2000 backbone - an additional drop cable is not required. The BUS power supply must be switched off before installation. After connection, the device is automatically supplied with power and signals readiness for operation via LED. For the initial configuration, the gateway is addressed via its own WLAN network (SSID: YDWG, password: 12345678). Connection and settings are conveniently made via a web browser on the smartphone or PC.
The device is plugged into a free port on the Seatalk network (preferably one of the 5-way ports). Configuring it on the Wi-Fi network was straightforward for anyone who has ever set up a Wi-Fi network before.

Hi! Could I use this to transfer NMEA2000 AIS data to iPad and have iPad same time in second (public) internet connection - or only one connection in time?
